The addition of candles on the birthday cakes, and their marketing as a part of birthday celebrations, is attributed to the Germans of 1600's.The custom was to place a candle for each year.

Avenging Ameera

The Greyvels used to live in a big manor together. The cousins were growing up, while forging tight bonds to each other. So did Bruce and Ameera. They were not similar. Bruce was spontaneus and loved fights and adventure, while his introvert young cousin stayed in the house. But he loved her so much, because Ameera had a heart of gold.

The years passed by and she got married to a nice man.

Ameera continued her kinds acts and she visited a lot the prisons and the hospitals of the city. In one of her visits she met a noble troublemaker. Earl Roger Stevens was in prison for picking a fight after a card game. He was a charming womanizer and soon set his eyes to Ameera.

The poor woman could not resist. She fell deeply in love with him but his feelings were not the same. After his rejection Ameera died of broken heart.

Bruce could not accept it! 

He would take revenge by destroying the Stevens family. He became friends with Roger and he seduced his beautiful and kind wife Ciara. But unlike Roger, he had true feelings for her. He decided to elope with her and never look back to the past, but the plague of 1666 took both his and Ciara's life.

The royal family 1627

I m done with 1625! Now my familly is in the 3rd generation and still goes strong, earning royal favor slowly but steady. The family above is my royal family, the Wanaecters.

Ye olde alien abduction

Love in the ruins of old lives

Caerdhens used to be a noble family. They were barons and close to the king. But it all changed when the firstborn son Nicklaus Caerdhen conspired against king Alexander. He was executed and the rest of the family was exiled and lost the title. Georgie, the youngest son of the family, loved his brother. He was there at the day od the execution an it was him who took his elder parent to the small town of Guthen, in Guthenshire, so that they could start a new life together. Hopefully a happier one. 

Soon enough, his sister was married to a young lawer in the Greyvel Family ,became pregnant, and everything seemed promicing. But there was a small hint of sadness. Georgie grew feelings for the daughter of Greyvels, Martina, and she felt the same way. The problem was, she was already married to Beagsam.

Both of them tried to keep their feelings to themselves, but those feelings didn't fade away. They became stronger and soon crashed Martina's unhappy marriage.

They were both free now, but their love was so scandalous that their liφe was hard to bear. The Greyvels cut all relations to them, their neighbors never talked to them and Georgie couldn;t find a job. But soon he found a solution.

The East India company was recently founded and he could work there for a time. Later, after his parents' death, Martina could follow him. They would build a new life on the ruins of their old lives. But this was not ment to be. 

Some weeks after his ship sailed to India, they were informed that it was vanished in a storm. There were no survivors. 

Heartbroken and with no will to live anymore, Martina gave birth to their twin sons,Martin and George days before died.

1600's Settling down

Me after some time battling with the project.

I finished after many days the first generation of my Sim families and I have to tell you it is HELL HARD, even with all the modification I made on the rules of the project. I don't dare to imagine how hard it would be if I followed the project exactly.
So it was difficult, but it worthed it! I had a lot of fun trying to keep my family alive (let alone to make it thrive, which is the objective) and I saw many sims lose their status, money, freedom or life. It was a "Welcome to the 1600's" situation...
So I took some pics from my visit there! I felt like a time traveller paparazzi that took pics of their everyday life. Well mostly fights because my sims didn't have enough education at that point (pic.1)

I also should introduce my family, the Greyvells, who managed to live an honest life, with a reputation of kind and hardworking family but I forgot to take some pics of them...
Anyway I ll post the other pics and I ll introduce you to my kingdom, in time. There will be stories too, cause all I did till now was simply settling down. The best are before us!

The first day

 My very first post in this blog! So let's start from the very essential. I am Naya, known as 'grecadea' in my Sims2 creations. I play sims since I was 13, and it's been a looong time since then. Though I used to create stories and gameplays for years, *this* is actualy the first time I started a Sims challenge from internet. 

Here, I ll post interesting stories and pics I like. Also there will be links to nessesary, useful, nice mods and other historical themed stuff, since the challenge is set in 1600's.

Soon I ll create a different, -a little bit easier- way to play this, with simpler rules. Still I d recommend you to try M3g7e's for a richer, harder game. Plus, her work on this challenge is huge, and deserves a lot of cudos!
